Back To How Much I Kick Ass...
An Original Story
CURRENTLY UNTITLED!!!   I don't know what this story is going to be called yet, but I'm leaning toward "The Vampire's Suduction"

What do you think?
PROLGUE

She lay on her back, no sound escaping.   The only testament that she wasn’t dead was the steady rise and fall of her chest.   A cotton comforter was draped across her thin waist, a satin sheet across her chest.   Her hands were clasped together loosely on her stomach.   Her black-blue hair was spread above her head.   Her pale skin seemed to glow in the moonlight streaming from the window above her bed.

He crept closer, wanting to look at her beautiful face.   His coldness preceded him and he saw her shiver slightly.   He stopped for a minute, hoping she would become accustomed to it.   After a moment, she sat up and looked around.   He froze.   Her eyes were barely open and she soon lay back down, returning to her previous position.   Orion let out a breath that he hadn’t realized he had been holding.   He moved forward again.

Alexia sighed in her sleep and turned her head, facing the far window in her room.   He froze again.   She was facing his direction!   But her eyes remained closed and she peacefully slept on, unaware of the creature slowly creeping closer to her.   He could see her slender neck, the veins barely noticeable.   He was at the edge of her bed.

Suddenly, she shivered violently and pulled the comforter up to her shoulders.   He moved in closer, smelling the sweet pea in her hair.

He leaned in.

She grunted and turned over, her back now facing him, her neck no longer accessible.   He wanted to scream in frustration.   Instead, he stalked back to the window he entered in and slipped out as quietly as he had come in.   On the fire escape, for a split second, he took one last look at the young woman in the bed.   Without missing a beat, he turned and jumped.

The Elders would not be pleased.
